I've paid $35-$65 to have aluminum prop repaired.

Just my two cents... I had an aluminum prop rebuilt by a reputable repair
shop (http://www.propshopltd.com/ ... They just happen to be walking
distance from my house) Later in the season, I had one of the blades
break off clean at the hub for no apparant reason. It was only $55 to
have it remanufactured, but I should have popped a hundred for a new one
instead, would have saved a precious day on the water, as well at a two
hour cruise home on the trolling motor.

It seemed to me that any civilization that had so far lost its head as to
need to include a set of detailed instructions for use in a package of
toothpicks, was no longer a civilization in which I could live and stay sane.
