Freedom of speech is not equate to backstabbing. After his service, Kerry
opposed the war strongly as did many AMERICANS.

Yup. Lots of us, yours truly included, opposed that war. But most of us
also felt Jane Fonda and John Kerry should have been tried for treason as
well.
