Gary,
I had a condensator installed on my after market AC unit in
my Searay 300. It worked great. Only thing you have to watch
for is to be sure the filter is changed when needed. I
really liked the unit as I had no good way to run a
condensate hose to my bilge. Mine was made by Boat Air, but
I assume they are all the same.

Does anyone have any experience with those devices called Mermaid
Condensators. They operate on the venturi principle and drain the water
from your air conditioner condenser into the raw water line for your air
conditioner, thereby preventing the water from dripping into your bilge
constantly.
They are a bit pricey for a few hoses and a small venturi, but if they work
as advertised, I MIGHT consider putting one on my boat.
Any special considerations to worry about or any experience good or bad with
them?
Thanks!
Gary
