Sounds like sour grapes to me.
I can't think of many foods that I like better than Lake Erie perch.
Not easy to find in the land down under.

Don't know how to break the news to you but there are places in the Great
Lakes where the water is clean enough to drink untreated. Lake Erie water
was considered unsafe to drink in the early 19th century, naturally
occuring
organisms most likely being the culprit.
