I agree. Facts slways trump wishful thinking no matter the ideology that
produced it.

heh heh... Will Rogers once said, "Only believe half of what you read,
and 90% of what you see."
And the above slogan could well be taken as an ideology, too. But in
general I mean "observable, confirmable, un-spun" facts, such as water
flows down hill.
