I am getting an 18' boat and have been offered a choice between the

trailer at their cost since I'm buying a boat from them.

That seem to be the new story with respect to boat trailers - we're
not a trailer dealership - we only buy them for our customers. Clams
beat me to it, but you really have to be careful with setting the
trailer up right. Bunks can be a problem with loading and unloading,
but rollers aren't great for long term storage.

I live in Florida and the trailer will see 75% salt water and 25% fresh
water. Also, should I get torsion springs or leaf? What is the
difference?

Torsion is best, leaf is a far second. However, that isn't always the
case. On my Ranger CC for example, the CG is so low and more to the
sterm, that leaf springs make a lot of sense.

With respect to manufacturer, EZ loader is a good trailer and they
will generally try to set it up for your boat when the dealer orders
it and they build it. That's not always the case. Harry mentioned
stainless steel brake rotors and that's a good thing.
