In Duval, about 22,000 presidential ballots were uncounted because of double
votes and 5,000 because no presidential vote was recorded.
That's the problem with a "punch card" ballot.
Don't like the way somebody voted?
Punch a second hole for a second candidate in the same race, after the voter
leaves the building. Joila. No more "wrong" vote.
To save time, you can even pass out ballots with the hole for GWB pre-punched.
The votes of folks who intend to vote for GWB aren't efffected, they simply
push the stylus through an already existing hole.
The po' dumb folk who don't see the many advantages of a right wing reactionary
in the WH? Thier votes for the wrong candidate are tossed out, "sorry, two
holes punched for president."
