Not at all. I'm being realistic. If the same radical Islamic
fundamentalists who were stirring up clashes in Kashmir are successful in an
assassination attempt on Musharraf, you'd better believe that the government
of India will seriously consider a preemptive strike on Pakistan.

India and Pakistan have been at each other's throats since India
achieved independence in 1947 from the Brits and Pakistan "split off" to
provide a homeland for most of India's Muslim population. They already
had a substantial war. India is not run my lunatics. Pakistan is a bit
less insane than it was...but you never know. The assassination of
Pakistan's current leader would not precipitate nuclear war between the
parties.
