I think you're making a big mistake if you don't include Taiwan Diesel
in the mix. The only problem being finding a dealer, or manufacturer.
The crux of the problem being the principal doesn't like dealers and
the manufacturer doesn't exist. But, if you can get past those minor
glitches, I hear they are great outboards.

Ah, you are referring to the "Taipan Diesel Outboard," the one NOT
manufactured, distributed or sold by Karen Elizabeth Smith, the one for
which there is no literature, no published news releases, no production
line and the one whose "registered name" was stolen from a model
airplane engine that was made and sold in Australia?

Indeed, there is no way you could go wrong with such an engine, since it
isn't being manufactured, distributed or sold. Hard for anything on it
to go wrong, eh?
