My bad. I slightly misread your original post.

Riding around at night is a different kind of boating... night sailing
is a favorite of mine. It can be a lot of fun... but my viewpoint is
also slanted by encounters with a few of the "if I can't see anything,
it must be that there's nothing there, so let's go full throttle"
persuasion.
