Rural NC seems to have that tendency too, but it's not universal.
There's always a few that are above the bell curve

intelect and looks. Kind of like shopping for a car at an auto mall.

Also, big city women are more likely to be hunting for a man.

Agreed. We really enjoy the friends we have made in our marina. Not
everybody is so lucky though. I know there are sailing clubs in Oxford &
St Michaels but they're kind of stuck-up, also a long hike for you. How
about Cambridge? We loved the sailing club there.
