Keelbolts on the mid 80's Catalina 34, Doug? Catalina had long switched to SS
bolts by then and problems of that nature are rare in models after late 70's.

Stainless steel is NOT a suitable material for keel bolts. Look up
crevice corrosion and see why. Sounds like it's defective allright.
