No, "Erie Grog" actually races. If North Cape was a little better about
posting their results, you would see it's name from time to time. A fair %
of the folks that do Bay Week sleep on boats, if you have to sleep/live on a
boat for 3-4 days, you could find worse choices. In an ideal world you rent
a condo for the stay(like we did this year), but there are some logistical
problems, you have to drive several vehicles down there, you can't do the
"Deepwater" race, more expensive, blah, blah. Personally, I've never cared
for the look of these Hunters, but it seems like most of the mass production
builders are going that route, very beamy, lot's of freeboard. I'm still
trying to figure out why Hunter's are still held in such low regard. They
build a pretty good boat, probably as good as Catalina or Beneteau, they
also have a lot of owner loyalty, like Catalina. But again, I've never cared
much for the look of the newer ones, they are starting to look a little
better though. I would somewhat agree with Horvath, his boat is nicer than
the Boobs, though probably only 4 or 5 times nicer.

I think they would probably settle for less.

Oh, so *you* think his Hunter is a dock queen.

Scotty, those are my captions. "Erie Grog" did the Toledo Deepwater
last
year, served as a floating hotel for Bay Week.

My boat is ten times nicer than yours.

100 times! Nice tub, your own caption admits to being a slip
queen.
Is it a 33.5?
Why are the hatch boards 2 different shades?
Do you like those stern rail seats?
