lol, you resort to personal attacks because you are unable to defend

actually roy g biv came about because I was taking a class when I got
the new computer and I had just read page 97 of Naui's master scuba
diver text when prompted for a name as I was signing up with google
groups, I intended captkeywest to be in the headers instead of roy but
don't really care enough to change it ....

actually the MIT site VALIDATES point discharge theory (sharp vs
blunt)
& is why spheres (bluntest of the blunt !) are the norm for such
displays,
"Charge builds up exponentially until at about 6000V a small spark
jumps between the two spheres in front of the meter."
