Sure. That's what handicapping is all about.
Actually, in a rising breeze you've a much better chance of winning in a
slow boat than a fast one. Or in flukey conditions where you can watch
the boats ahead and tell which way *not* to go
... plus no sail changes, no sail rolling up or folding, I think the most
they might have done is pack a spinnaker.
What'd they do, play cards??
