The reason the alarm, goes off, the system "tests" itself , so when
something does go wrong, you'll hear the beeping. This testing, is built
in and is perfectly normal.

Mine does the same, But I beleive it is because the engine does not have
any oil pressure until you start the engine :-) Thus creating the pressure
that the sensor needs to shut off the alarm.
