USENET is unmoderated and uncontrolled... your only options a

1) Be irritated by things you don't want to read.
2) Filter out objectionable material by manually ignoring it or by
automating filters
3) Never look at a USENET newsgroup again.

Expressing exasperation is what many, if not all, of these politicos
want to see. Calling them names only serves to encourage their
behavior.

If you ignore them with automatic filters, they don't go away, but
they certainly appear to. That is "my way."

My guess is John is like Sterling, addicted to OT posts and OT whinning.

They will never use filters or kill files no matter how many times you point
them out to them.

They're just like people who profess to hate Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh, but
listen to them everyday.
