I have an old beat to crap 1972 16' silverline with a 65 hp 1972 Johnson

For some stupid reason instead of bringing it to the dump I'm thinking of
restoring it. The boat really does have a cool classic look to it and I have
some cool ideas in my head if I decide to take the challenge.

Thanks for any insight,

Take a look at this book, Runabout Renovation by Jim Anderson:

This book was recommended to me by the Classic Glastron Owners
Association before I started replacing the floor and transom of my boat,
and it gives you a good general idea of the steps involved. It's a good
deal at less than $12.
