Who was there first, you or the fishermen? If you are within casting range
you are just being plain rude. You should take the ethical high ground and
give them wide birth. Goes a long way towards local relations.

just cast off anyway.

This is the case with ALL of the rivers and smaller lakes nearby. I'm
beginning to wonder which is worse: jetski's or anglers...
