Me too. I hope it works out for you both.

The downside is that your daughter will see first hand some of
how
awful
& cruel people can be. It may make a cynic of her.

However IMHO it's better to know reality and try to retain one's
ideals
in spite of it all, rather than to labor under delusions and
ignorance
while pretending everything is just peachy. And the animals do
need
the
help!
