That's one sweet looking ride! :-) But, what's it resting on, in the
pictures where it's on land? The rollers (or whatever) look so
insubstantial.

Those 'rollers' don't look too insubstantial to me. Note the size of
them in comparison to nearby people. I count at least 24 of them.
