Default Discovery Channel and the Devils triangle.

I didn't see it, but I am familiar with the principal. When any type of gas
is present in excess in water, the buoyancy of floating objects decreases.
If you think of it this way, the space that the gas takes up equates to
there being no water in that space. And since vessels don't float in air,
they sink.

Did anyone happen to see the scientist on the Discovery Channel who has a
theory that the mystery of the Devils Triangle is methane bubbles? I was

only
watching it off and on and they did a demonstration where they pupmed

methane
gas all around under what appeared to be a 20' leisure boat. The boat

sank
very slowly in what appeared to be fairly calm water but I missed the

reason
they said the gas made it sink. Was it from fizzing water slowly filling

it or
what?
