One son to look after her... it's a learning experience... he's coping as
best he can.... he was unaware of the prior incident. Does the term
"Compassion" or "Empathy" ring a bell?
It should have been handled with more discretion than having the local
constabulary called and having the lady arrested. She was in tears without
understanding why it was happening to her. Don't blame the son.. he has
enough on his plate looking after his mother. He tried to explain it to the
security staff... they would have nothing to do with it. These are not are
not wealthy people. This is not the USA
This is Canada... we help elderly people across the street... we don't kick
them out onto oncoming traffic. This is not a high crime area..... many
seniors live around the area.
No Katy... this is fault of the store. It's insane!

| While Zeller's is totally out of their minds for proceeding with this, I'd
| still like to ask: Why is this woman walking around unassisted and
unaided?
| Why is she going to the store by herself when she is diagnosed as having
| Alzheimer's? There is some fault on the families part here...she has
become
| a danger to herself and her family needs to start taking some
responsibility
| for her before there is a serious accident.
