I had the same setup a few years ago , it didn't fail so I never had to
replace it but it looked so close ( and rusted like it too ) too the auto
version that I would be tempted to try an auto version on it. Aside from
corrosion problems it may be designed too pump in one direction so you may
have too reverse the lines , go for it !
