An argument can be made that it should have been the Keating Three. The
independent counsel at that time, recommended both McCain and Glenn be
dropped from the investigation. It clearly wasn't McCain's finest moment,
but perhaps, it made him a better Senator. His judgment hasn't been
perfect, but he appears to be a man of honor.
