I'm all for high taxation of sailboats and other recreational vehicles.
There's many positive effects:

1. Existing boat prices will rise.
2. Home boat building will blossom.
3. The waters will be a lot less crowded.
4. Tax money can be used to fortify the Coast Guard.
5. Lives will be saved.
6. Wetlands can be restored.
7. The highest subsidized class - the rich retirees- will get slapped with
a tax they deserve.
8. Old boats will get restored.
9. There won't be an excess supply of boats.
10. Dock fees will go down.

Any sailboat over 20 foot will have a 100% sells tax. The Kerry
Campain claims that any vessel over 20 foot is a luxuary item that
only the super rich can afford. A portion of this tax will be used to
upgrade cheaper boats like cal 20's because the owners expect their
govt to feed, shelter and provide them with things they are not
willing to work for. The other portion will be given to Ketchup mfgs.

Kerry claims every good American should be able to hand sew, crochet,
and ty-die sails. The tax will be used to ban Dacron and save the
planet. Kerry claims dacron is another agent orange like by-product of
the Vietnam war. He testified that is was used by the less decorated

service in Vietnam were made of dacron, so now you know why he threw
