Good advice for any boat purchase of course. I've never owned a
Crownline but have always heard good things about them. I do own a
Mercruiser 350 however and it's a decent engine that has withstood the
test of time and keeps getting better. The main difference
boat-to-boat with engines, is accessability for maintenance and
servicing. Make sure there is some way to change the oil filter and
sparkplugs without being a dimensionally challenged contortionist.
Some boats are unbelievably bad in this respect.
