Garmin has a great website. go there and download the manuals for any
and all of the handhalds that might appeal to you. They all are real
good there days, so unless you really want a special feature - cheaper
is better.
Besides, if you buy cheap, you won't feel as bad when you decide to
upgrade in a few years.
I do not recomend the handheld chart units as the screen is just to
small to be read on a moving boat.
When you get one, look up Wapoint+ and Purple Open Products for software
to manage waypoints and the cable to plug it into your PC.
