Hi, Terence,
do You mean this ship ?
http://www.kolumbus.fi/jamikko/Purje...0Champigny.htm
(it is finnish, but has some good pics !)
That is her most probably, she was one of the French Bordes shipping
co's 4 masted barques in the early 1900's and named Champigny but had
her name changed when she was sold to new owners, last I heard was years
ago she had been towed out of the Falkland Islands headed for San
Francisco but never heard if she made it.
I think her history is described he

2).html
Ahh, this is Lars Bruselius' site, never thought to look at it but if
anyone has her fate recorded it will be here.
I love to do research in the internet - I always remember how hard it was
before it came up.
I only go into research when it is a case of having to, at present I am
looking for photos of another French Bordes vessel L'Loire, 4 masted
barque built 1895 and scrapped 1924, I have the plans for her on the way
from Musee de la Marine in Paris and if they are suitable will build a
1/96 scale model of her later,
regards, Terry
P.S this list used to be quite busy, what happened to it?.
