You're right. But, some dolts like to clamp onto a word or term they think
is naughty, or cool, (like "socialist", "ad hominem" or "crossposting"), and
use it to death. Somehow, the entire process of crossposting had gotten a
bad rap. But, if you have a question about networking windows 98 and you
crosspost to win98.general and win98.networking, the responses will be seen
in both newsgroups and you'll have your answers in half the time.
