"STCW does not recognize an "oceans" endorsement for licenses under 500 GRT.
You can take the celestial course and have it endorsed on you license, but
it would only be valid on vessels that are not subject to STCW (warships,
fishing vessels, pleasure yachts not engaged in trade, or wooden ships of
primitive build)."


Gee that kinda sucks huh? STCW on my 100 ton was a piece of cake. Why
you farten around with a 100 ton anyway? You gonna work the oilfield?

thinking of buying a 135 ft crewboat and putting it to work here in
