Are people allowed to carry guns in public parks?

Here in Texas you are...... And That's a fact! You walk up and try to rob
our church secretary you better watch out, in her words "She is a pistol
packin Mama!" and been through the training and has a permit to carry a
concealed weapon. She is old and blue haired too. It really cuts down on
rape and robbery here....
