Default Here's one for Katy

Never seen one either, a flash that is, but last time out on one night we
saw a green halo around the sun for a fairly extended period, maybe several
seconds before it dipped below the horizon. I can only assume that this is
what everyone was always fussing about.

I never even seen one green flash.... and that was with people who claimed
to have seen it while I was present.
No I'm not colour blind.
I have never seen a green flash at sunset.

| Since that one was for Katy I'll give her points anyway. The best

answer
I
| have to date is four, not counting flying east at a fast clip.
|
| So for the rest of you . . .how is it possible to see four GF's in one
day
| yet all different and all at different times?
|
| Note: this came up on a day when we saw three. I've never seen the

fourth
| one myself. But it sure is a benefit of working the 4-8 watch, along
with
| those purple and rose sunsets!

| I suppose you could see a bunch of them if you could fly east faster
than
| the sun was setting in the west....the green flash thing has always

been
| an
| episode in futility for me....I'd rather see rosy pink and purple
sunsets
| than a green flash....no points for me....
