Right now it looks to me like both the major U.S. political parties have
forgotten what it's all about. They are both frantically trying to raise
money, and spending their funds on ads intended to "energize their
base." What they need to do is convince people to vote for them... kind
of an old fashioned notion, don't you think?
Uh, Doug, they mean the same thing.
