Hey Idiot, is this a sailing question?

I'm test driving a Toyota Prius today, loaned to me by my dealer. I drove
it
around last night and was pretty impressed.
We may buy one next summer for the MPG, though a small wagon would work
better.
I think a Prius fits in with sailing nicely, making a big environmental
statement...but what about the battery waste?
