??? I'd guess that a 3500 psi did not work wonders on your joinery though.
One thing that's right is that you need a spray, or better an aerosol.
Simply wiping with bleach solution won't get into the crevices where the
spores are prevalent. But dilute bleach is very effective.
I tried the bleach routine with all the effect of Bush in Iraq..... it
seemed like "insurgent" spores arrived from all over and I ended up with a
bigger mess on my hands than when we first cleaned the boat.
I left all the ports and hatches open and set a big fan in the companionway.
Light and air are the best methods to ensure the plague does not return.
I've seen it hit other boats up here and cause big problems.
All that does is keep the spores from growing in areas that are directly
exposed & ventilated.... down in the little voids & spaces, they are
still growing and will burst out when you close up the boat.
