To some extent, probably. The "old" Mac26X had to compete with the numerous
previously owned Macs on the market, by coming up with a new model, the
brokers no longer have to deal with that. They can claim that they have a
new model, and comparisons betweeen a "new" 26M and a previously owned 26X
are invalid.
