Boats and learning about them are not stepping stones to some
end. They are an end and a beginning in and of themselves.

He and many of us are bothered by this because it's pretty clear
by saying something like that you have no concept of the art of
sailing.

an eventual end. While sailing the Mac, you NEVER thought you'd learn from
her
and move up to a more comfortable yacht.
You may not like the term, "Stepping Stone" but it's what most of our
boats
are. I love Alien, but I have dreams and plans to own a larger boat in
warmer
waters. The moment I think that thought, Alien becomes a "stepping stone."
