Fuji's
electronics and AF system lags. In addition, the Fugi takes longer to
power up
and takes 1.5 seconds shot to shot, while the Z1 powers up faster and can
manage just under 1 second shot to shot.

On what focus setting?

Both cameras have good optics with the
edge to the fuji. I actually like the S7000, but it's AF system proved
unreliable...much like Canon G1 and Olympus C50. No thanks.

Only in the wrong mode setting do you get AF problems (it doesn't focus).

The Z1 is so usable I'm selling the G2 on Ebay right now. The Z1's
"fastest"
auto focus means it takes more usable shots than many other better
cameras.
I'll be picking up the next gen of the canon rebel next.


Still won't be as good as any of my cameras.
