They should also get rid of some of those silly limitations placed on

use and conviction. Just because someone get arrested in 1968 with a

seed on the floor of his car shouldn't bar him from being a
professional

Illegal marijuana use is a sign of trouble if you ask me, a clear
indication of poor self discipline and inadequate character for a
ship's master. People who respect rules leave it alone because it's
illegal and not because it's any worse than booze. To have it in a car
is very troubling. Professional Masters need more respect for the law
than some 1960s pothead still making excuses for his law-breaking ways
all these years later. A very wise restriction.
