1. Excitement and joy in my daughter's eyes, smiles and a beaming face.
2. Love and approval in the eyes of my wife.
3. Email messages from friends and siblings, located all over the world.
4. Excited voices of my parents and in-laws on the telephone.
5. Gifts from my family, mostly not nautically related.
6. A wonderful feast.
7. A relaxing evening with my wife, a glass of wine while appreciating the
beautiful Christmas tree and reflecting the events of the day.
