Where did you (Donal?) dream up that number? The FBI's Crime in the United
States estimated that 63% of the 15,980 US murders in 2001 were committed
with firearms. That's 10,067, less than half your dream estimate. And
before you say that 10,000 is still too many remember that our MDs' "medical
misadventures" kill some 125,000 per year and like Saddam bury their
victims.

Another thot: every time I see a celebration in some "repressed
dictatorship" in the news I see poor enslaved citizens firing off their
fully automatic assault rifles into the air and wonder about why all of us
free peoples in the UK and America who are not allowed to possess such
weapons.
