Default Well I thought, if I dont tell ya, I don't Love ya!

It's more a matter of convenient confusion and obfuscation
than people having one or two names at the time.

For example, I know of at least one local Old Thom. In
the future if someone writes about Old Thom many many
people will not have a clue as to whom the writer refers.

Same goes for this Jesus legend. Had those who believe
been more concerned with accuracy that could be proven
than a legend that could be exploited they would have
easily been able to give this Jesus legend a name that
could more easily prove his existence for future generations.

Simple;

There you go again; History according to Neal Warren.

What was Abraham last name? David? Moses? Soloman? Plato? Alexander, the
great?

Even today. in Islamic Societies many go with just one name, without a
surname.

There is a great question about Mary and Joseph's trip for the census.
Was it really a census at that time and was that why the trip was taken.
Jewish professy was that the Master would be born of "The House of
David," which was Bethelham. Is that the way they got Jesus' birth
there? I don't know but the story has a lot of people using just one
name.

Can you enlighten me, Neal?

The more I think I know the more questions I have.
