Who has seen one sailing?
I have. It was pretty pathetic. We couldn't figure out what was wrong. =
We came into Muskegon Lake from the channel on main and half jib, and =
let out the furler as we passed the marker buoy...the Mac 26X was up =
ahead of us with everything out, which is not considerable...dinky =
sails...and was making way at about 2 knots to our 5...and the wind was =
blowing about 10-12...at first we thought maybe they were on a bad point =
of sail but when we paralleled them we kept our speed and zoomed on =
past...the hull configuration is just all wrong to sail...either that or =
they need to stick on a stouter, taller mast, a longer boom and get some =
sails that will make all that weight move. Ugly things...would rather =
have an old fixer upper with a leak than a new Mac26X
