You can't expect an AOLamer like Bob to understand these concepts.

Let's face it if he is using AOL to access the usenet and his sources
of technological information are the mainstream spoon fed media then
his world is still a flat plane do to his limited perception.

He is therefore afraid to take the next logical technological step for
