Why do they put antifreeze in a shampoo?

WOW! They do that now? When I was in high school we all used to wash =
our hair right before the bus came (we all had rally long straight =
hair...60's ya know) and in the winter our hair would freeze....isn't =
modern science wonderful? Now teenaged girls don't have to have frozen =
hair anymore!
