We take it for granted that Booby knows nothing of these things. But it would appear
that neither do you.
For starters, the number implies that the vessel was documented roughly 20 years ago.
Its rather unlikely that RB (or any other owner) would bother changing the measurement, so
this is probably the original measurement that the factory supplied.
Also, "Hull Depth" usually refers to the distance from the top of the deck or sometimes
the coachroof, down to the bottom of the hull, not including the keel. There are a number
of variations on this, depending on the hull shape. When this boat was documented, the
measurer probably had some choices on which formula to use. Now, you pick the shape that
best describes your boat and plug in the numbers.

BTW, my boat has a "hull depth" of 9 feet.

I love that hull depth of five feet.
It just goes to show that idiot Booby doesn't know the
difference between depth and draft.
Bwahahhahahahahahhahahahah!
Also, it's rather odd that Suzanne's last name isn't Brody.
Booby is probably lying about being married as he lies
about just about everything else.
