OK.
Due to plumbing considerations, Mr. H put an elbow in the 1 1/2" hose on
Monday. I'll give it a week and let you all know if that was a solution.
If it still stinks we're looking at a new sink and counter...

Mr. H. finally got home, turns out he actually has an elbow for the
hose.
Talk about procrastination! He's going to cut out the kink and put in
the
elbow. We'll see how that works. I'll keep the hose size in mind, on
the
other boats the hose was 1", this one is 1 1/2 or 2"!
