Default More Republican Lies!!!

What a Maroon! You really are the best that you can be.

In her third month in office, Condoleeza Rice (National Security Advisor)
told President George Bush, Jr., and the Senate Intelligence Committee of
the United States, that, "The greatest threat faced by the United States,
and indeed the World, is political instability in the Middle East.
....Sooner or later, that instability will result in interruptions in the
flow of oil to the rest of the World, with all that that implies."

Three weeks later, President Bush, Condoleeza Rice, Richard Chaney,
(Vice-President), and Colin Powel (Secretary of State), met with Donald
Rumsfeld (Secretary of Defense) and laid out goals for a war. The group was
explicit in its objectives:

1. Remove Saddam Hussein from power and destroy his WMD
2. Secure the oil fields
3. Occupy Iraq
4. Destroy terrorist camps in Iraq
5. Control the Iraq oil pipelines (E.g., Syria, Lebanon, Turkey and
others)
6. Establish military control of Lebanon's and Syria's southern borders
7. Establish military control of Iran's eastern border
8. Establish a new, Arab-free-zone, super base, in Iraq to replace Ryada
9. Restore security and naval superiority to the Persian Gulf
10. Restore Iraq infrastructure and delegate civilian control to a
representative Iraqi government favorable to the U.S. and its allies.

They have met every goal but two, although "...destroy Saddam''s WMD" turned
out to be unnecessary, since he did it himself. They are even ahead of
schedule in rebuilding the country. Causalities are below estimates (both
civilian and military). The new military operations center is nearing
completion, which will give the U.S. not only the power to observe, spy on,
and control all communications in the middle east, but provides a real
threat to Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
They have only semi-control of the pipelines and no government is in sight,
but it is still early.

| Ahhhh AHA!
|
| It isn't about picking sides. It IS about Right and Wrong.

It certainly is about sides Donal! I picked my side... I'm on Canada's

side!
... and I'd sooner have the USA as a neighbour than Iraq.

| Saddam was an evil dictator. He used his position to murder thousands

of
| innocent people. Nobody disputes these facts. However, there is an
| international acceptance of the fact that only a "clear and imminent
danger"
| is a good excuse for war.

So what if he was an evil dictator? So what if he murdered millions of his
own people? The problem lies in the inability of the Bush regieme to
accomplish even one goal on any war they elected to wage.

|
| Bush tried to tell us that Saddam had WMD that were ready for deployment
in
| 45 minutes. That was a lie.

So what?

|
|
| There was NO "Clear and imminent" danger.

So what?

|
|
| Don't you find it strange that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, are all going

to
| make millions out if the war in Iraq?

I don't care.... what I'm laughing at is the gullibility of the USA in
believing him and the fact they have failed miserably to achieve any prime
objective. It's a global embarrasment that rivals the USSR in Afghanistan
years ago. It smacks of another Vietnam. It's made the USA the laughing
stock of the entire planet. They are being beaten up by people with

stoneage
skills despite the fact the USA claims "Star Wars" Technology!!!

Might makes Right.... you're not gonna change that Donal.... but when
"Might" becomes idiotic in it's strategy then it's time for the audience

to
point fingers and laugh at them. Right now the USA is acting like buffoons
in a country they thought they could change. Change hundreds of thousands

of
years of culture and evolution by a state formed less than 300 years ago?
Imagine what would happen if the tables were reversed and Iraq had invaded
the USA and demanded they stop drinking alcohol! HAH!
