You would think that living in NY would bring him in contact with

Id rather go ahead and fight this war on our terms. And I could care
less what the rest of the world thinks. If we learned anything from
Vietnam its to finish what we start and use every tool at our desposal
to get the job done right the first time. We will get Saddam and we
will get Ossama Bin Laden. Both are just rats scurrying around in
caves. We have more resources and patience than they do. And we are
not stopping till the job is finished. Get used to it!
